A Peek through Door Handle Types

There are different types of door handles and choosing the one for your door requires you to first determine where you want to install the door handle that you will purchase.

A lever latch is generally used for interior doors with a plain back plate with a fitted mortice latch. A lever lock on the other hand is used for both external and interior doors that require lock with a key hole on the back plate for your security.

You bathroom is the part of the house that requires a bathroom set that is used for bathroom locks. This type of handle usually has a thumb turn fitted on the back plate that turns the bolt and eventually locks the door. Such type also has emergency release on the outside of the door handle. A privacy lock on the other hand is like the bathroom set but the thumb turn fitted on the back plate locks the lever handle in place.

High Security San Diego Doors
