Set Your Goals with a Strategic Planning
Whatever it is that we want to get done successfully requires strategic planning. No matter how small that thing is, if we want to dedicate our time and efforts in it, having a strategy will help us reach our goals.
Strategic planning is the process of setting your objectives and the approach you will implement to reach them. It is also determining the possible situations that you may encounter along your way to reaching your goals and the corresponding directions or immediate actions you will do to adapt with and surpass them. Business analysis techniques such as the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) and PEST Analysis (Political, Economic, Social, and Technological analysis) can be used to aide in strategic planning.
Usually, during the establishment of a business or the end or start of the year, strategic planning is performed to set the goals and the direction of the business in the coming years. Unique set of visions is typically implemented yearly or may also last for 3 to five and sometimes, 20 years. Strategic planning is headed by the top management and also requires the participation of some of the members to make sure that all the necessary things will be put into consideration.
