A lot of people want to decorate their homes inspired by saunas to keep a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Just a small room would be enough just to allot some space for the family and friends to feel some heat, release some sweat and relax. Having your own sauna could truly be a highlight in your home.

The term sauna is used to describe an unusually hot or humid environment. It is designed to be heated to very high temperatures to induce relaxation and promote sweating. Very high temperatures that are intolerable in normal circumstances are balanced by a low humidity to enjoy the heat of the steambath. Different regions in the world also have variations of saunas but the Finnish sauna still remains to be the most popular sauna in the world.

There is also a boundary between a traditional sauna and an infrared sauna. A traditional sauna usually runs with air temperature between 76-88 or up to as high as 93 Celsius. Hot air causes the body to heat up and promotes sweating. The IR sauna on the other hand usually runs at a lower temperature of about 43 to 54 Celsius and promotes sweating through different heater types that creates infrared waves that directly heat the body.
